Artist statement:
Photography is the art of taking things out of context. Sometimes that can be done to reveal a greater truth or to make a situation more clear. Sometimes it can be done to obscure, to make an ordinary object or scene more mysterious. I enjoy pursuing the latter course, using damaged or outdated equipment to make the everyday more exotic.
